There's gotta be something. The Rift likes playing practical jokes, but there's usually a phrase or something that can undo it instead of just riding it out. It's just the...finding it that can be virtually impossible. [Still not helping, Benjamin.]
I think a fire would be good. I've tried putting on a coat someone gave me earlier on the street but it just disappeared and went back to the person who gave it to me.
that would be good. I don't know how much reading I can do but phone. And hopefully the blanket can stay on the ground and I can be on top of it. The grass is wet.
Oh. Maybe you can at least sit on the blankets. Keep them as long as you don't cover yourself as that's apparently what the Rift doesn't want you to do.
I can do that! You will get your phone. [She will send David, if he is so obliging, however, so Jeremy is not further embarrassed >>] And blankets. And maybe some hot chocolate.
I want to try that because it will get hard to just stand here for how ever long this lasts and I'd like to sit on something comfortable and warm at least. Yes, apparently it's very against that.
Thank you! Hot chocolate would seriously be awesome. I can drink stuff. [Just not wear stuff, and David would be more than happy to go out << and he can lose his shirt too. :D]
[Jeremy does not want to be in the loincloth. At all. And he doesn't want to be outside either because it's really cold and also, he has barely any clothes on.
He almost jumps at the sound of Wes. This is... embarrassing.]
...uh, hey. [shifty. Wes is kind of like Alaric for Jeremy here.]
[DAW. The narration is so pleased with this, as Elena finished saying recently in narration Martha was kind of like their Jenna.
It makes sense Wes would be the Alaric. He can even hunt vampires and fight with weaponry. c:]
That is very reassuring. You can't step on in? [He motions to the house, and his wtf look turns kind of sympathetic and exasperated. At the Rift, not at Jeremy. For the record.]
[DAW, yes. It makes such perfect sense that that is how it would work out for them, baw. ;; It is perfect.
Wes could even help them train like Alaric helps Elena train in canon. c:]
Yeah, it's-- it's something anyway. [He clears his throat, looking up at the door. His arms are wrapped around himself as best as he can.] ... no, when I try to get close to a doorway or a window, I get thrown in the opposite direction.
I tried a... a few times, on a few different buildings since I was not anywhere near the house when... sudden loincloth.
[He would totally help them train if he hasn't already. c:
He would find it important that they know how to defend themselves, and being human doesn't mean they can't if they know the right maneuvers. c: c:]
... Alright. Think you can make it to the back of the house? Nobody needs to walk down the street and make you uncomfortable.
[he tilts his head to the backyard and will try getting him there, if nothing else. There's the wood he'd been chopping, so he'll start on building a fire like they'd been talking about. ;x]
Jesus. [He'd known the Rift was twisted, but c'mon now. Kid's seventeen.]
We'll get it fixed up, yeah? Just try not thinking on it too much.

It just happened. While I was walking on the sidewalk, my other clothes and everything disappeared except my journal and
I'm outside the house now behind a tree.
but the tree keeps moving

this is awkward. and so not a conversation she wants to have with him.
but concern > awkwardness.]
Oh, God.
Okay. We'll figure out what to do and in the meantime we'll get you blankets and see if that works.
Just stay close by, okay?

Yeah, my thoughts. Exactly.
Okay.
I'm not going anywhere! I had to run across a few blocks to get here, and I attracted way more attention than I could ever want.
I'm staying.
Right here.

her brother is now Tarzan.

Okay.
Good.
Glad we got that settled.
[She will just go gather things up for him now and they don't have to ever talk about this again!]

Okay.
Okay. Yeah. Thanks.
[He will just sit here shivering in the grass. ;;]

Not that there is any way to help right now. I wouldn't have even written this if I didn't have to.
Guess it's better than just kneeling out here in the dark.

Yeah, same. This is
Loincloths are really flimsy. I don't know how Tarzan did it. [not without some wardrobe malfunctions]

... I'm not pulling your leg, by the way. Sometimes these things really do work.
He lived in the wilderness his whole life, my friend. He probably thought the loincloth was obstructive.
no subject
I guess I could try some of those things. [Not that he isn't already embarrassed enough to have that embarrassment last forever.]
...I should probably be grateful he has a loincloth.

And uh I don't know if you want us to bring you a book or your phone or...something.
